Itinerary | Dharamshala – Srinagar – Ladakh Jeep Safari – 12N/13D

DAY 1: Delhi – Dharamshala (McLeodganj)

Board an AC Volvo coach to Dharamshala at 18:00 hrs. Overnight journey to the scenic hill station.

DAY 2: Dharamshala (McLeodganj)

Arrive in Dharamshala, meet our representative, and check in at the hotel. Explore McLeodganj, local markets, and cultural sites. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 3: Dharamshala – Patnitop (2024 m, 259 km / 7 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Patnitop. Enjoy scenic mountain views en route. Check in at the hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 4: Patnitop – Srinagar (1585 m, 181 km / 7 hrs)

Drive to Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir. Check in to a houseboat on Dal Lake. Overnight stay with dinner.

DAY 5: Srinagar Sightseeing

Enjoy a guided Srinagar city tour, including Shikara boat ride, floating market, and Mughal gardens. Evening leisure at the houseboat.

DAY 6: Srinagar – Kargil (2704 m, 225 km / 8 hrs)

Drive via the famous Zojila Pass (3529 m) into Ladakh. Pass Drass, India’s coldest town, and arrive in Kargil. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 7: Kargil – Lamayuru (3510 m, 153 km / 6 hrs)

Drive to Lamayuru and visit the 1000-year-old Lamayuru Monastery. Explore the lunar landscapes. Overnight stay in Lamayuru.

DAY 8: Lamayuru – Leh (3350 m, 115 km / 4 hrs)

Drive to Leh. Explore local attractions, monasteries, and Leh market. Overnight stay in a hotel in Leh.

DAY 9: Leh – Khardung La – Nubra Valley (120 km approx.)

Drive via Khardung La (18,380 ft), the world’s highest motorable road. Explore Diskit and Hunder villages. Enjoy a camel safari in the sand dunes. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

DAY 10: Nubra Valley – Leh

Morning camel safari and visit Diskit Gompa. Drive back to Leh for an overnight stay.

DAY 11: Leh – Pangong Lake (145 km per way)

Drive to Pangong Lake via Chang La Pass (17,500 ft). Enjoy the stunning lake views that straddle India and China. Overnight stay at Pangong Lake camp/hotel.

DAY 12: Pangong Lake – Leh

Return to Leh, check in at the hotel, and spend the evening exploring the local market. Overnight stay in Leh.

DAY 13: Leh – Delhi – Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport for your flight to Delhi, concluding your unforgettable Jeep Safari adventure.
