DAY 2 Leh to Hemis (12,000 ft) and Trek to Thiksey (11,800 ft)

Begin your trek to Thiksey, encountering panoramic vistas and chortens along the way.

DAY 3 Thiksey to Chemrey (11,500 ft)

Trek to Chemrey Monastery, perched atop a hill with commanding views.
Explore the monastery's serene courtyards, prayer halls, and stupas.

DAY 4 Chemrey to Likir (11,840 ft)

Trek to Likir Monastery, known for its statue of Maitreya Buddha.

DAY 5 Likir to Alchi (10,040 ft)

Drive to Alchi Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

DAY 6 Alchi to Lamayuru (11,520 ft)

DAY 7 Lamayuru to Phyang (11,500 ft)

Trek to Phyang Monastery, with its magnificent collection of thangkas.

DAY 8 Phyang to Leh

Trek back to Phyang and drive back to Leh.

Note: The Ladakh Monastery Trek requires a reasonable level of fitness and acclimatization. Adequate gear, proper clothing, and respectful conduct within monasteries are essential.
